Downward blows are the ones you cannot see coming, and the shoulder is where they land. This shoulder protection exists for that single problem: padded caps sitting over the joint, held by straps running around the biceps and across the chest so the piece stays put whether or not you have a vest on underneath.
The fasteners are the useful part. They adjust enough to fit almost any vest, so you are not locked into one manufacturer's system or forced to buy a whole new torso set just to add shoulders. Movement stays unrestricted, which is the usual trade-off with rigid pauldrons. Colours, patterns and fully custom designs are available on individual order, priced by complexity. Produced within 14 days, then 10–14 business days to Europe.
