Good leg protection lets you plant your feet and commit to the bind. This category holds ten models from our workshop. They run from a light shin and ankle wrap up to a full set that reaches the thigh, the foot, and part of the pelvis. Some use technical soft foam with a multilayer filler inside. Others mix that foam with plastic for a firmer face, similar to the reinforced construction used across our plastic protective gear. Sizes go from M to XL, with kid sizes for fighters aged 7 to 12. Every model suits individual fencing and mass buhurt training, plus LARP, soft sword sparring, and foam weapon training.

How to Choose Leg Protection

Three things separate the leg protection sets here: how much of the limb they cover, how much plastic they carry, and how they stay in place.
  • Shin and ankle. Shin And Ankle Protection is the lightest choice at 0.400 kg with a 1 cm foam wall and a touch fastener at the heel. Full Shins Protection reaches up to the knee and the foot.
  • Three-quarter leg. These add coverage above the knee. The version with an extra security and fastening belt pairs circular fixation with a belt over a soft lining. A combined model adds shin, ankle, and the heel fastener.
  • Full leg in soft foam. The full leg protection family (One Color, Color Mix, and Pattern Design) wraps the hip, knee, and shin from every side, at 35 by 50 cm and 1.070 kg.
  • Full leg with extra reach. The Juggernaut full-leg protection set also covers the whole thigh, the foot, and part of the pelvis, with hook-and-loop fasteners and a belt.
  • Foam with plastic. Segmental Shins Protection carries a solid frontal plate plus a side element, at 25 by 40 cm and 0.380 kg. Segmental Hips With Knee adds plastic-reinforced hips and one-piece knee caps at 0.800 kg.
Fixation is the last call. Circular fixation wraps the limb all the way around for an even hold, and the segmental and full sets use it. Belt fixation adds a strap that keeps a thigh-length set riding high through a full day of buhurt. For a more complete setup, leg armor can be combined with protective body gear to keep coverage balanced across the torso and lower body. Sizing goes by height and weight, so measure first.

Key Benefits

  • Technical soft foam with a multilayer filler keeps the weight friendly. The lightest shin model sits at 0.400 kg.
  • The Segmental line mixes foam with plastic, so you get a solid frontal plate on the shin and one-piece knee caps at the hips.
  • Circular fixation and belt fixation both hold the gear where you set it, so your mind stays on the round.
  • Sizes reach from kid 7 to 10 years up to XL for a 195 cm fighter, with grids for inner thigh and hip girth.
  • Most models ship in a wide color range, and the wear-resistant shell keeps its looks across seasons of historical medieval battle (HMB).
