How to Choose Hand Protection

Choosing hand protection gets easier once you match each guard to the job it does.

• Fist protection: our soft sword fencing guard, 12 cm wide, 15 cm long and 1 cm thick, at 0.110 kg. Pick plain Fist Protection, Fist Protection Color Mix, or Fist Protection Pattern Design.
• Quilted mittens: a simple shield hand cover for soft sword, axe and halberd work.
• Padded mittens: a thicker, more durable take on the quilted mittens, with a leather palm for grip. They serve well as under-mittens or a shield arm mitten.
• Mittens "Lobster Claw": knuckle, wrist and thumb cover with a fixation system at the wrist, in open palm or closed palm.
• Plastic mittens: a 4 mm plastic shell with a padded mitten sewn inside, in black, gray or white. Fighters looking for a more reinforced setup can also explore our plastic arm and leg protection.
