Body protection is the vest layer that takes the most contact in a fight, and this collection covers the torso from the shoulders down to the hips. You'll find eleven vests here, from an ultra lightweight segmented vest built for speed to a full Lorica Segmentata vest protection with a plastic belly plate and detachable neck protection. Several hold foam and plastic segments under a wear-resistant shell. All of them use Velcro straps or fastener systems, so the fit stays close while you move. Fighters wear these vests for HMB, buhurt, LARP, soft sword sparring and foam weapon training, and a few models come in kids' sizes for ages seven to twelve.
How to Choose Body Protection
Start with weight and thickness. The lightweight vest with shoulder protection weighs 0.690 kg and measures 60 cm wide, 100 cm long and 2.2 cm thick, with a front panel and a separate spine element. The ultra lightweight segmented vest comes in at 0.600 kg and 1.2 cm thick. Both suit fencing drills, LARP events and soft sword sparring. Move up for heavier contact. The segmented vest with plastic inside and the segmented vest with shoulder protection and biceps each measure 45 cm wide, 62 cm long and 1.2 cm thick, and both weigh 1.3 kg. They combine foam and plastic elements under a wear-resistant outer layer. The Lorica Segmentata vest protection goes furthest, with a reinforced plate over the belly, enlarged shoulders, integrated neck protection shaped for several helmet types, and petal tassets across the pelvis. Then choose the finish. Body protection here ships in black, blue, yellow, red, orange, brown, gray, green, pink, white and purple, along with bicolor and custom options.
