Give a five-year-old a shield and the games organize themselves. This sword and shield set for kids pairs a heraldic shield — 50 cm tall, 40 cm wide and 3 cm thick at 0.620 kg (1.36 lbs) — with an age-matched blade, and both are made to survive the way children actually play. The shield's straps adjust to small arms and the face wipes clean, print and all. The sword uses a hard core for shape, soft polymer filler for the impact and a wear-resistant fabric casing over the top: Mini runs 60 cm and 100 g for ages 5–6, Middle 70 cm and 220 g for ages 8–11.
