A plastic insert sits inside the padding, and it earns its place on edge hits specifically — the strikes that flatten an unreinforced shield fastest. Straps adjust at both forearm and palm so it will not rotate on impact, and the outer material washes clean. Dimensions are 50 cm (19.7 in) across at 5 cm thick, suitable from eight years old.
