Kneecaps are small, bony and directly in the path of a low swing, which is why this is the thickest plastic in the protection range. Knee protection here is moulded from 5 mm plastic — a full millimetre more than the elbows or vambraces get — with a riveted side plate extending cover around the outside of the joint.
Adjustable fasteners hold it against the leg without binding, so you keep full flexion for stance work and ground fighting. The pair weighs 0.485 kg (1.06 lbs). Two size bands are offered, M–L and L–XL, in black, grey or white. It suits individual fencing and buhurt fighting equally. Produced within 14 days, then 10–14 business days to Europe and 14–30 to the US.
