The base of the skull is where a bad angle does lasting damage, and this helmet with neck protection is built around that fact. A steel grid guards the face with a thick padded layer beneath it, and the helmet tail extends down to cover the base of the neck rather than stopping at the hairline. Sliding Velcro fasteners and neck straps pull the fit in, so one shell adapts across sizes and stays put through fencing exchanges and mass buhurt alike. Soft interior inserts absorb sweat instead of holding it.
Sizes run M for head girth 53–57 cm, L up to 58 cm and XL 59–62 cm, suitable for fighters from 8 years old, at 38 × 27 cm and 1.130 kg (2.5 lbs). Eleven colors as standard, custom designs on request.
