Want to start training HMB but not sure what it must have and what can be bought later? We’ll guide you in this challenging journey, so read on.

Soft Helmet
You can’t start training without a helmet. It should be produced explicitly for buhurt because your head and neck must be a top priority in a fierce battle. Maybe I’ll open the whole new world for you by mentioning this, but helmets made for other kinds of sports won’t save you properly from all the injuries you can get in full-contact armored combat. So get the right one!
Even more, there are various types of helmets made for HMB. You can get a metal grid helmet for the best visibility and oxygen access. But if you want to experience something more similar, as if you’re wearing a steel helmet, you can try special models designed in a way it makes it hard to breathe and master stamina. Check out our new model Knight Visor Helmet.

Vest for Body Protection
Next comes body protection – a vest, here you have a wider variety of options. Any vest produced for martial arts would fit. There are various kinds of vests lightweight and reinforced, with or without shoulder protection; choose what suits your needs. You can get more creative here by ordering a custom logo or custom pattern design vest to make your team feel more unified.

Groin Protection
Groin protection is crucial, and you can get any hard cup available in a sports equipment store.

Arm and Leg Soft Gear Protection
Full arm and leg protection, someone will tell you that that gear is not vital for beginners but don’t trust their words. If you are not okay with bruises, you’d better protect your extremities. When talking about leg protection, I mean there are so many options, you’ll be surprised: full leg protection, four in one ¾ leg, shin, ankle protection with fastening belt, shin and ankle protection, ¾ leg protection with belt, juggernaut protection.
If you’re low on a budget, you can skip this part for now, but you won’t forget about arm and leg protection for long enough as it hurts and limits your training speed. I’ve met many fighters who left training gym with painful bruises, feeling bad about their decision to save money on this type of protection.

\
Hand Protection
The last piece of protection we’ll recommend as necessary for newbies is hand protection or it’s also called fist protection. You can choose any protective gloves, fist, or even mittens. In order not to hurt your wrist and fingers.

That’s all, it looks like pretty much, but guys, sincerely speaking, no one will share their personal gear from the list above with you.
Good news – you can lend soft weapons and shields from your team members and consider buying your own later. Remember, all soft gear should fit tight with buckles and be adjusted so that you won’t feel uncomfortable in it. It shouldn’t limit your mobility also.
You can check our beginner kits which consist of helmet, fist, shield, and sword, or consider a light competition kit with helmet, leg, and single-arm protection, fist, shield, and sword. Anyway, be safe during the combat, and let’s meet on the battlefield. Soft Sword one love!
